Kirkland Explains Process For Solar Commercial Farm
The Town of Kirkland Board met Wednesday evening to discuss new business. A resident asked the Board if a proposed solar project needed an Article 7 permission. Town Attorney Tony Hallak replied no. No Girls Basketball For Varsity Players At WCS
Waterville High School will not have a girls basketball team at the varsity or junior varsity level this year. WCS Superintendent Zach Abbe gave an update on winter sports at last week’s WCS Board of Education meeting. He said due to lack of girls signed up to play this year, there are not enough players for either team. Only five girls said they would play this year. Brookfield Replaces Superintendent
Brookfield Central School has replaced its superintendent and will begin the search for someone new to lead the District. Clinton Sponsors New Trails Project
Village of Clinton Board members worked out a number of financial details for upcoming projects at their meeting last week. Giving the report from the Finance Committee’s meeting, Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo said the Village’s fund balance, or savings, has grown to over $300,000 since the new fiscal year began in June.
