Artists Wanted For Show In Park
Upper Unadilla Valley artists will have an opportunity to display and sell their work at Art in the Park, an event being hosted by the Upper Unadilla Valley Association, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, in the enclosed pavilion at the Town of Winfield Park in West Winfield. New Hires For MMCSD
Changes made in the Mount Markham Central School Transportation Department have resulted in a 92.5 passing rate with DOT inspections. Transportation Supervisor Cindy Hazekamp and Assistant Supervisor Eric Watson gave a presentation at last week’s MM School Board meeting. Hazekamp has been at Mount Markham for seven years, taking over supervision of the department last year after being the dispatcher. Park Approved In Bridgewater
The Town of Bridgewater Board recently to discuss new business. The Board approved a resolution approving the July meeting minutes. Water Department Supervisor Jerry Perry said the new pump is working good. Usage was higher over two days because of a fire. Clayville Library Marks 100 Years
The Clayville Library Association is marking its 100th anniversary this August with free daily giveaways, weekly basket raffles, musical and children’s entertainment performances. All are free and open to the community. Brookfield Superintendent Learning About District
Brookfield Central School’s new superintendent said his first days on the job have been made easier by the welcome and support shown. Dr. Tom Butler attended his first BCS Board of Education meeting last week. He thanked Maintenance Supervisor Ken Plows for a tour and explaining the building project.
