The regular meeting of the Plainfield Town Board was Oct. 9 at the Town Hall. Supervisor Todd Lewis opened the meeting at 7 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. The Town of Richfield decreased some town employee salaries for 2026 in their budget for next year. At the Oct. 16 budget workshop a motion to increase all employee salaries, excluding the Town Board, by 2.5 percent was withdrawn without approval.
