The Village of Clinton Board met Wednesday night to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution approving the May 13 meeting minutes.
The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of vouchers.
The Finance Committee met June 9 and not all invoices were approved at the Village Board meeting.
The End of Fiscal Year and First Month of Fiscal Year Budgets are expected at the July Village Board meeting.
Village of Clinton Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo said most New York state grants for parking will not provide funding until 2027.
"I just felt the parking problem is something that needs to be dealt with this year," Tantillo said.
Paperwork for the Tree Committee Arbor Day Foundation and Tree City USA were sent to the Village for annual renewal.
The Village needs to spend $2 per resident on tree management every year to continue to qualify.
Tantillo said the Village plans to plant trees on the Clinton Central School campus.
CCS has already planted a Liberty tree donated by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The tree will be dedicated at the 250th celebration next month.
