At their December meeting, the Sangerfield Town Board accepted the resignation of Codes Officer Dan Ford. Ford told the Board he would assist with things until a replacement is found. When the Oriskany Falls Fire Department truck stationed in Knoxboro heads for major renovations this Spring, the department will rent a truck during the gap. OFFD Fire Chief Russ Petrie told the Oriskany Falls Village Board last week that the Hubbardsville Fire Department has a 1992 truck available to stand in for Engine 2, which is housed in Knoxboro. Six people joined the Waterville Fire Department last week. It’s the first time in the department’s history, said Waterville Chief Jarrod Waufle, that six people were voted in at the same time. Joining the department: Jeremy Edwards, Cole Buschor, Margaret Mangan, Hilary Rounds-Kehoe, Jonathan Rounds and Sarah Rounds-Kehoe. The Clinton Historical Society opened a new exhibit this month in tribute to the Clinton Figure Skating Club. The Opening Reception included speakers who talked about the history of the Club and changes over the years. The exhibit is on display through May. The Historical Society is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
