Winfield Sets Park Fees

The Town of Winfield set rates for 2026 for people who rent the two large pavilions in the Winfield Memorial Park.

Winfield Town Supervisor Bill Miller said the cost for all rentals includes a $75 deposit.

That deposit will be returned if the pavilion is cleaned after use by the renters.

Otherwise, it covers the town’s costs. For town residents, another $75--non-refundable--will be charged for using Pavilion 1 or 2, near the playground.

There is no charge for using the small pavilion near the Route 20 entrance.

Non-residents will pay $150 to rent a pavilion.

Non-profits will not be charged a fee.

Miller said the fee costs cover utilities such as garbage removal and electricity.

The Town issued a temporary permit for the Delaware Solar Project.

Miller said this is the first step in permit requirements to allow the company to move forward.

The Town will also be using $116,000 in state highway aid to buy a new tractor for mowing.

The CHiPs funding covers the cost in total.
