At the July meeting of the Sangerfield Town Board, an update was given on the Madison Windmill Project.
Kate Chapman from EDP Renewables discussed the Madison Windmill Project. She expects two of the windmills to be in the Town of Sangerfield. EDP is working with other land lease permits.
In other matters, Dustin Dwyer discussed the easement across the Sangerfield Green for his driveway. He was advised the town has contacted Attorney Bill Getman in regards to the easement.
At the Board’s June meeting Dwyer discussed their property bordering the Town Green and asked for permission to put in a driveway which will cross the Green. Verbal permission was given by the board members.
A formal easement will be looked into for legal reasons.
Town Resident John Rienzo spoke to the board regarding video conferencing. He also advised Clerk Belfield there are mistakes in the website.
Also at the July meeting Judy Bailey asked to discuss the building of her new home with Codes Officer Dan Ford. She asked about the acceptable wood for the framing, her well and septic. Ford said he will be in contact with her.
