WCS Students Get A Second Chance To Pass

Waterville Central School District’s credit recovery program provides students another attempt to pass a class.

At last week’s WCS Board of Education meeting, WCS Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Spring explained how the program works.


The District uses an outside resource that runs the classes.

Students who fail a class in High School or earn an incomplete can take a credit recovery class to get those credits.


Spring said the classes are taught either fully online or a blend of online and in- person learning.

Students must fulfill the requirement to put in 108 hours to pass the recovery class. ...
