WCS: Lose Weight And Save Money

First, he asked those who were the first in their families to graduate from Waterville Central School to stand.

Then WCS Class of 2023 President Gavin Poyer asked graduates and their parents who were Waterville grads to stand. He went to a third generation, then asked all WCS alumni to stand.

“There are generations of alumni out there and we join their ranks today,’’ Poyer said during his welcome to the 149th WCS commencement.

Fifty-nine seniors added to the WCS alumni list Saturday morning in a ceremony that recognized what this group added to the Waterville legacy. Principal Jennifer Dainotto thanked the class for their patience and flexibility in her first year.

Dainotto also touched on the talent the group showed in music, athletics, FFA and academics.
