WCS Graduate Displays Baking Skills On Show

Season 12 of the Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship features a Waterville graduate as one of the competitors.


Caleb King, a 2012 Waterville Central School graduate, is one of 10 bakers who started out in the competitive baking show in mid-September.


As of last week King remained one of the contestants competing for $25,000 and the title.


While at Waterville King participated in several musicals, most notably in his senior year portraying the Cat in the Hat in Seussical.


Each week bakers have been assigned a challenge to bake and win the approval of the judges.


King works as a pastry chef near Seattle, Wash. in Fall City’s Treehouse Kitchen.


According to an article in Seattle Weekly, King has been there for a year and a half. Before Treehouse Point, King worked for the Four Seasons after attending Seattle Culinary Academy for pastry school, following a move to the West Coast in 2012.
