Waterville CSD Implements New Policies

Waterville Central School District opens the 2024-25 school year with two significantly new policies and preparing to make big upgrades in the District.


At last week’s WCS Board of Education meeting Board members approved two policy changes they have been working on for months that will impact all students.


One will change how grade point averages are calculated and the other will erase any tolerance for cell phone use during the school day.


Board members and administrators logged a couple of extra hours before the meeting started walking through the two schools with March Associates architects.


District residents will vote to approve the project in February.
