In the last moments of his life, Clinton native Edward Felt tried to help others.
Twenty-one years later, Felt’s legacy continues to benefit people.
The Edward Porter Felt Flight 93 Memorial Project, assisted by the Clinton Central School District Foundation, will introduce the Edward Felt Community Run/Walk Challenge set for April 9. The event at the CCS track will allow people to cover as much distance as they like, organizers said.
Bill Huther, a member of the Memorial Committee, said the date was chosen with family participation in mind. “It’s a way for people to get out in early spring and exercise, enjoy something together out of the house.’’
