Volunteer Award

On June 3, Rebecca Marzeski, president of the Richfield Springs Garden Club, attended the Federated Garden Club of NYS Conference in Albany at the Desmond Hotel.

She was awarded the State award as a volunteer who "made outstanding contributions to civic development, youth, and all-around excellence for her 40 years of service through the offices she has held and activities she has provided the community and through her positivity and the increase in membership.”

With her leadership and direction, the Garden Club received a grant that enabled the complete beautification of the Reservoir in the Village of Richfield Springs.
