Village Elections

Elections last week in the villages of West Winfield and Richfield Springs passed quietly with no contested races.

In West Winfield 28 people came to vote.

Trustee Todd Niederlander received 28 votes to be re- elected.

Michael Grann won a seat on the Board with 23 votes.

Joseph Thomas received three write-in votes.

Richfield Springs had 90 people turn out to vote.

Mayor Richard Spencer was re-elected with 83 votes.

Robin Moshier and Brian Boss were re-elected trustees to the Board with 85 and 90 votes, respectively.

Michael Marmet was elected village justice with 61 votes.
