Veterans Will Be Honored With School Ceremony

Mount Markham Elementary School students and staff will present a program to honor local military veterans.

All veterans and active military members are invited to the school’s Good Morning Program Monday, Nov. 10 for a special Veterans Day Program.

The program will begin at 9 a.m. with a breakfast reception to follow.

All service members who will attend are asked to contact the school at 315-822-2840 or send an email to Sarah Crave at scrave@mmcsd.org.

On Sunday, Nov. 9 the West Winfield VFW Post 2338 and American Legion Post 1058 will have an Open House for veterans, family and friends starting at noon with a ceremony.

That will be followed by a luncheon and entertainment. The event is at the VFW Post on Route 20.
