Tree Dedication

In the fall of 2025, a tree was planted at the North Brookfield Park in dedication to Steven Walker.

Dewitt Head designed the plaque, which reads:

"Steven O. Walker

He Proudly served in the Marine Corps. in Vietnam, 1967-1969. A valued community member who was instrumental in designing and building the original pavilion, in-ground dugouts, excavated and drained the left field and installed the 8ft wall, the big play gym and new parking lot in the North Brookfield Town Park."
