Training Done In Oriskany Falls

The Village of Oriskany Falls Board of Trustees held the yearly Sexual Harassment Training for Board Members Nov. 16.


This was followed by their monthly meeting.


The Board approved to approve Codes Officer Gary Schreppel’s suggestion of adding a $40 per day Hydrant Service Fee to the Demolition Permit Application and to coordinate with the Department of Public Works for the use.


The Village Board said congratulations to Geoffrey Stevens for passing the Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator course and for being hired as the WWTP Operator contingent upon Oneida County Department of Personnel approval.


NYSEG Street Light Conversion contract is signed and will begin around February; this might cost the Village $2,929.


Arthur and Mary Howlett requested a street light on Barker Road.


Clerk/Treasurer Amber Bell has a contract from NYSEG showing the monthly fees for adding a new street light costing under $20 a month.
