Mount Markham Central School graduate Gabrielle Lewosko was the keynote speaker at the BOCES graduation ceremony.
The 170 students who completed Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Career and Technical Education programs this school year were honored in a graduation-style ceremony at Herkimer College.
“Congratulations to all seniors,” Herkimer BOCES District Superintendent Sandra Sherwood, during her welcoming comments. “You’ve been working hard and learning how kindness and hard work pay off to a lot of opportunities.”
The 2023 Career and Technical Education Completion Ceremony celebrated students who went through any of the 14 two-year Herkimer BOCES CTE programs – including students in the Valley Pathways in Technology Early College High School. Students were also recognized during the ceremony for various awards they won.
Herkimer College Provost Michael Oriolo was the guest speaker. He talked about the strong partnership between Herkimer College and Herkimer BOCES and congratulated students.
