State Says Yes On Funding Community Center Idea

New York state approved adding a Community Center as one of the projects to receive funding under Waterville’s New York Forward grant.

Waterville Village Clerk Gayle Barnes said at last week’s Village Board meeting the next step is to look into other grant funding.

That will determine if the project moves forward, she said.

The opportunity to have a Community Center reopened when Tom Eisenhut withdrew his project, releasing $1.8 million of the $4.5 million grant.
