The Kirkland Art Center will be honored with a proclamation from the New York State Senate marking the organization's 60 years of service to the community.
State Senators Rachel Ray and Joe Griffo will present the proclamation at the Kirkland Art Center Monday, Feb. 28 with a tour of the building to start at 4:30 p.m. and the presentation at 5:30 pm.
“We are proud that our community has benefited from the art education and cultural resources provided by the Kirkland Art Center for the past six decades, and we look forward to continuing our mission with community support for years to come," said Executive Director David Fitzgerald.
