Spring Scholar Athlete Teams Named By State

Spring varsity sports teams were named as Scholar- Athlete teams by New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

The number after the sport tells the students who qualified.

Students needed an average of at least 90 percent to qualify.

Mount Markham teams achieving the ranking were baseball (6), golf (6), boys track and field (4), tennis combined with Waterville (8), girls track and field (8) and softball (6).

From Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young districts combined for sports the boys track and field (3), girls track and field (6), baseball (6) and softball (9) teams were named.
