EDF Renewables will have an Open House to provide updated information on the Columbia Solar and Battery Storage Project.
People can ask questions and get an update on the 2,200-acre project planned for the Town of Columbia, the Town of Litchfield and recently added the Town of Winfield Tuesday, May 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Francesca’s Banquets, 144 E. Main St., Ilion.
The project, first introduced in 2019, is in the Development and Permitting stage this year and in 2024. If approved by New York state construction will take place starting in 2025 and ending in 2027, with the system to begin operations in 2027.
