Sled Power Flies Down The Slopes at The Lanterns

On Saturday, Feb. 5, Team Joshman hosted the Cardboard Classic Sled Race at The Lanterns.

The event raised over $1,000 for The American Heart Association.

Thirty-seven sleds entered the race, which was a record number of sleds since Team Joshman took over the event six years ago.

The following racers took away trophies at the end of the day:

Krista Jones- Fastest Sled. She also won the Race Kelly Challenge.

Don Burke- Best In Show

Lex Mikuszewski- Saddest Sled

A special thank you to Jake Rasbach and The Lanterns staff for opening your doors for this event. The successful race wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Also thank you to DJ Aaron Davis for announcing and playing music, Jamie Tuttle and John Dreimiller for helping promote and prepping the track, Rebecca Brink and Ruth Kurdziolek for securing basket raffles and helping with registration, CNY Apparel for providing the trophies, and the many others that helped make the race possible.

Sincerely,

Team Joshman
