Hayden McNamara and Olyvia Wilcox both placed third in their age divisions at the state qualifying round of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw contest.
The two Memorial Park School students competed in Syracuse Saturday for a trip to the state event at West Point. They advanced to the fourth round of the competition.
