School Boards Will See Changes

Although there are no locally contested races for Boards of Election next month, some changes will be made.

In the Waterville Central School District, two candidates are running for the two seats.

Dan Nichols, who is this year’s president, and Laurie Zweifel filed petitions to run for school board.

Zweifel will be joining the Board as Board member Pete Casatelli is not running for re-election.

In Clinton Central School District, Lisa Magnarelli, this year’s vice president of the Board, is running again.

Running for the second seat is Jennifer Giannone. Board member Erica Shaw is not running again.

In Brookfield Central School one seat is open.

Cory Grey is running for the seat being vacated by Sean Karn.

Voting for Board seats and school district budgets is set for Tuesday, May 20.
