Santa Schedules Stops In Waterville For Christmas

Santa Claus plans to put in a couple of appearances in Waterville this week and again right before Christmas.


While the 32nd annual Parade of Lights had to be canceled, the Committee requests businesses to decorate under the theme ‘A Quarantine Christmas.’ Participating businesses should decorate by Nov. 27 to be eligible for judging later that night.


Businesses with trees in front of their stores are asked to decorate those also.

Although he cannot arrive on a float in the parade, Santa will be at the Waterville Firehouse Friday, Nov. 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. He will wave to the children and take their letters and hand out goodie bags.


Due to Covid-19 regulations, kids cannot sit on Santa’s lap or come close to him.


Santa also plans to drive around Waterville Dec. 12 to wave from a fire truck to children standing on their porches and sidewalk. That will begin at 2 p.m. Listen for the fire siren to know when he is approaching your street.
