Sangerfield Sets Solar Moratorium

At the Town of Sangerfield’s October meeting, Board members adopted a 12-month moratorium on solar energy projects.


The 5-0 vote followed a public hearing with no members of the public attending.


Board members set a public hearing and vote on a local law for a 12-month moratorium on Wind Energy Conversion Systems in the town for their November meeting.


Also at the meeting, a discussion took place regarding the on again/off again internet service and if the town should upgrade the service or change to a new server. Councilman Phil Olin suggested the town invest in a new router for the court and the board rooms.


The September minutes were accepted.
