Sangerfield Hires New Dog Officer

The Sangerfield Town Board hired a new Dog Control Officer at their February meeting.


Two candidates attended and outlined their qualifications and experience.


Residents from Osborne Avenue spoke about their concerns about speeding on their street and noise from farm equipment. Town Supervisor Bill Fredericks told them to contact the state DOT about the speed limit. He said there is no noise ordinance in the town.


Board member Kevin Kelley gave the Board quotes for a marque sign in front of the Town Hall.


Highway Department Superintendent Karl Buschor said the new fuel tank is still on back order.


He purchased a generator for $1,280 and pump and meter for $700 for the department.
