Ride For Missing Children


Mount Markham Elementary and Middle schools hosted the almost 200 riders on last week’s 24th Ride for Missing Children for their breakfast stop on their 80-mile ride. Students greeted them with signs, cheers and music. Riders engaged students in high fives and dancing. Kathy Basilia rode in memory of Sara Anne Wood of Litchfield, who was abducted while walking her bike home in August 1993. Riders all wore pins on their jerseys with the faces of missing children around the country.
