The Richfield Youth Sports organization is sponsoring a raffle to advance ongoing fundraising efforts for their Sports Complex on Cemetery Road, Richfield Springs.

Richfield Youth Sports is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to inspire young children to grow into more active and healthier, responsible and successful, and socially adaptive people through playing sports and being a part of a team.

It was incorporated in 2013.

The organization will be raffling a panoramic Giclee canvas print of Deowongo Island on Canadarago Lake. The limited-edition print is No. 1 of only 12 and measures 48” wide by 12” high.

It depicts stunning fall foliage during the Autumn of 2024.

The print, donated to the organization by a local award-winning photographer, is valued at $585 and is on view at NBT Bank in Richfield Springs.

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and can be purchased at NBT Bank, Cassidy’s Diner or by calling Megan at 315-717-3942.

Drawing will be Dec. 7.

Deowongo Island is the only island on Canadarago Lake and consists of six acres.

According to local tradition, deowongo in the Oneida language signifies place of hearing.
