Richfield Springs Plans Summer Of Music Nights

The Richfield Springs Area Chamber of Commerce announces its Schedule of Summer Concerts.


Music in Spring Park was a daily occurrence when the big hotels and sulfur baths were popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s.


Open to the public and free of charge, the concerts are held rain or shine in the

Historic Bandstand or the covered Pavilion on Wednesday evenings throughout the Summer at 7 p.m. in Spring Park.


June 25: Glimmerglass Festival Young Artists-Presenting Season Preview

Together with Broadway Selections and Fun Music


July 2: Fritz Polka Band – Featuring A Mix of Polka and Country


July 9: Helen’s Dixielanders – Offering A Variety of Music from Polka, Showtunes and Opera to Dixieland


July 16: Dirt Road Express – A Showcase of Classics, Country, plus 50s and 60s


July 23: Cooperstown Community Band – Presenting A Toe Tapping Variety


July 30: The Nelson Brothers – Featuring Classic Country


Aug. 6: Justine Smithson – Playing A Variety of Music from Adult Contemporary to Country


Aug: 13: Double Chase - Matt & Thelma - Performing Some Old, Some New, Some Classics


Aug: 20: New Horizons Barbershop Chorus & Individual Quartets Singing A cappella in The Barbershop Style


Aug: 27: Seth Owen Becker – Offering A Blend of Familiar & Original Americana, Folk and Acoustic Sounds


The Chamber partners with the Village of Richfield Springs, the Otsego County Community Events Program and The Community Foundation of South Central New York to present a variety of entertainment.
