The Richfield Springs Rotary Club announced the completion of their bathroom renovation at the Richfield Springs Spring Park.
In 1973 the Rotary Club installed a bathroom underneath the gazebo at the park, which for many years was the only permanent bathroom in the park used for events.
The Village had done repairs when needed. In early 2025, then-President Vincent Guerra noticed the antiquated facilities and approached the Rotary Board about getting a grant from Rotary International to do upgrades to the bathrooms.
After getting permission from the Village Guerra and Ross Jones put into motion the paperwork for the grant.
Rotarians Jonathan Leinhart, Charles Strange, Ross Jones, Cindy Talbot, Cyndy Andela, Marie and Vincent Guerra took part in removing, recycling, patching the floor, painting walls and floor, and installing the new bathroom facilities.
The Rotary Club thanks the Village Board for their support to have the renovated bathroom put in use next year.
