At their first August meeting, the Richfield Springs Board of Education agreed to have a fiscal advisor review the District’s financial outlook.
In other matters, Superintendent Tom Piatti said he hopes the District can offer a Driver’s Education course in the future. He also discussed with the Board school safety and access to the building by law enforcement.
Elementary Principal Dr. Rene Wilson talked about curriculum development and is working on developing a therapeutic classroom space along with working with Stan Grose on a transportation handbook.
Board member Brad Smith said he would like local law enforcement to review their access to cameras and district specific safety guidelines.
Board member Becky Marzeski said she was impressed with the summer program and suggested extending the program for next year.
The Board approved the revised Richfield Springs Central School District 2022-23 Academic Calendar.
