The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, paid tribute to Deputy Kurt Wyman during their annual memorial ceremony last month. Wyman was killed June 7, 2011 while responding to a domestic dispute in Knoxboro. The county building that houses the Sheriff’s Department was renamed in his honor. His parents, Brian and Lynnette Wyman, put the wreath at the base of the flagpole.
