Refurbished Fire Truck Approved For OFFD

After weighing options and costs, the Oriskany Falls Village Board decided to

refurbish the fire truck stationed in Knoxboro.

Board members had a special meeting last week with Oriskany Falls Fire Department Commissioner Dale Petrie and Commissioner/Chief Russell Petrie.

The question of how to replace the 26-year-old truck in Knoxboro has been explore for the past year.

Because the condition of the truck caused a safety hazard, a decision needed to come soon on how to proceed.
