Rebuilding Notre Dame Topic Of UUVA Dinner

Join Jackson DuBois, executive director of the Timber Framers Guild and a Cooperstown-based craftsman, Nov. 7 at The Horned Dorset Inn, Leonardsville, for a personal account of how a small-town carpenter found himself in a Loire Valley workshop in France helping to rebuild one of the world’s most iconic cathedrals: Notre-Dame de Paris.


His presentation will be the highlight of the Upper Unadilla Valley Association’s annual banquet, which begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.


The cost is $64 and will feature a prix fixe dinner.


Tax and tip, but not beverages, are included in the price.


A cash bar will be available. Reservations are required and can be made only by sending a check to Larraine McNulty, 156 Pritchard Road, West Winfield, NY 13491.


Checks should be made payable to “UUVA” and must arrive by Oct. 29.
