The area kicked off the Christmas 2023 season with a race, a couple of parades and plenty of sightings of Santa Claus. Dozens of people worked off those Thanksgiving calories with the Jingle Jog Saturday morning in Clinton. Both Waterville and Clinton featured their annual parades Friday night. Waterville’s theme of ‘A Christmas Story’ came to life in a number of ways, including this reminder from the Deansboro Fire Department. More photos, Pages 6, 7, 12.
