Mount Markham varsity field hockey played in the Class C semifinals Saturday, falling in overtime to Canastota. Goalie Ayva Kantor and defenders Mya Hoke and Kasey Coffin hold off a shot by the Raiders, while Madeline Bard takes control towards the Canastota goal. The Mustangs also saw the season end for the boys varsity soccer team, which lost to Waterville in the playoffs. In girls soccer the Mustangs lost at Westhill in the first round of the playoffs. Mount Markham football lost to Dolgeville, but opens the playoffs at home Saturday vs. Sandy Creek.
