Plants sold quickly to their new owners during the annual Upper Unadilla Valley Association’s Plant Sale at the Town Park in West Winfield. The non-profit UUVA, founded in 1969, works to preserve, protect, and highlight the Upper Unadilla Valley’s natural and historic resources. That region includes West Winfield, Bridgewater, Unadilla Forks, Leonardsville, West Edmeston, and surrounding vicinities. Proceeds from the plant and garden fair help fund a scholarship for a graduating Mount Markham Central School District senior; a summer tour or event and a fall banquet.
