Plainfield Approves Spectrum Contract

A Public Hearing and Regular meeting of the Plainfield Town Board were in December in the Town Hall.


The Public Hearing concerned the Charter/Spectrum Franchise Agreement. There was no public attending. The Board approved the agreement with a resolution.


Assessor John Davison reported he is working on splits and transfers as well as checking the status of the solid waste user fees, checking on new construction and renovations. More of the latter will have to be done closer to taxable status.


Highway Superintendent Rod Jennison reported they are finished cutting shoulders and are working on trimming trees and cutting brush. He made a request to transfer funds from D-2302 to D-5130.4. The transfer was approved with a resolution by the Board.


The November Town Clerk reports, Minutes and Abstracts were all presented and approved by the Board.


Supervisor Todd Lewis gave an update on the generator.


A letter from the Otsego County Town Supervisors Association for a contribution to cover the associations cost incurred was read and the motion approved by the Board.
