A Public Hearing and Regular meeting of the Plainfield Town Board were held Dec. 11 in the Town Hall.
The appointment of Mark Stillwell as a Board member was approved.
The Board approved to accept the state Cannabis Law.
The Assessor reported he has been collecting data on new construction and renovations that have closed building permits.
Many properties are still under construction. These will be taken care of closer to taxable status date to capture the state they are in March 1.
Highway Superintendent Rod Jennison reported that once the new truck comes in, the 2009 will be going up for sale. The Gradall needs a new clutch.
The November 2021 Supervisor reports, Town Clerk reports, Minutes and Abstracts were all presented and approved by the Board.
The addition of the Deputy Supervisor to the Town checking accounts was approved by the Board.
The Board approved a 3 percent pay increase for the Highway employees.
A new Dog Control Officer, Jean Kosina, has been appointed by the Board starting Jan. 1.
