This house on Beaver Creek Road is believed to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad when owned by Calvin Whitford. Current owner Rosalie Keith opened her house to visitors and she and the Brookfield Town Historical Society dedicated the Historical Marker in front of the house. Keith was able to buy some of the original furnishings that Whitford had owned.
