No Jive, Grease Delighted Start To End

When the movie version of Wicked came to the theaters, designated showings encouraged people to sing alone.
In the latest musical by Clinton High School, it was impossible to sit there quietly and not join in with the cast on those classic songs from the musical Grease.
Clinton Music Department students pulled out all the stops as they used their knowledge of teenagers in the 2020s to portray teens in the late 1950s.
A simpler time, before things got messy with Vietnam and assassinations and equal rights for those who had long been second and third class members of society.
What took place on stage was an energetic whirl of dancing, bright colors and fun that splayed out into the audience. And a car.
An actual drive on the road car, a Triumph Spitfire.
Carmine, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Lillibridge, was in the ensemble for her special number, Greased Lighting.
