As the final residences in the Village of Waterville receive their new water meters, a change in how often bills are received is possible.
At last week’s Waterville Village Board meeting, Mayor Gene Ostrander floated the idea of billing residents monthly for water and sewer usage. While doing so would not save residents money, it would allow for easier smaller payments, Ostrander said.
The village sends bills quarterly. Ostrander said for some residents, getting a bill of $200 or more to pay at once is a challenge.
