Mustangs Win Sectional Title!

Mount Markham and Beaver River met for their annual clash in the Section Three Class C final, both of them again showing up unbeaten on the season.
The first set played closely, as would be expected, to a packed gym at Central Valley Academy, eventually going to the two-time defending sectional champs, the Beavers.
The next three sets to decide the title came in what, for these two teams, was a rout.
Mount Markham led most of the rest of the game, only trailing briefly at the start of the fourth set on their way to their first sectional title since 2022-23.
It also marks the second sectional title this year for the Mustangs, whose girls field hockey team won a sectional title this fall.
