Mt. Markham Tax Levy Up 2%

Mount Markham Central School District residents will vote on a budget in May that contains a 2 percent increase in the amount of money raised by property taxes.


The proposed 2024-25 tax levy will go up 2 percent under the preliminary budget Board of Education members are reviewing.


The Board plans to adopt next year’s spending plan at their April 17 meeting.


Over the last seven years, Mount Markham has put a budget to residents that raises the levy 2 percent or slightly lower.
