Mount Markham varsity field hockey claimed the Section Three Class C title Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win over Holland Patent.
It was also a good day for the Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young girls varsity soccer team.
The Eagles beat Edmeston-Morris 1-0 Saturday to win the Section Four Class D title.
Mount Markham was scheduled to play Monday for a spot in the state regional playoffs. Sports, Pages 4, 8
