Memorial Bench

In an appropriate fire engine red color, a bench was dedicated outside Clinton Firehouse 1 on Park Row in memory of Mark Klausner.

Klausner worked for the Utica Fire Department, rising to the rank of lieutenant.

After retiring he volunteered with the Clinton Fire Department, becoming first assistant chief before he retired a second time from fire service; he passed away in late 2023.

Several colleagues and family members attended the dedication, with grandchildren Will and Amos trying out the bench.
