Marshall Repairs Sign Honoring Town Vets

The June meeting of the Marshall Town Board opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and approval of the minutes from the May 13 meeting.
In the Recognition of Guests portion of the meeting, Town of Marshall resident Sue McConnell asked about updates for the sign for the Veterans Park.
Supervisor Colleen Baldwin said the sign was in the works. She and McConnell discussed the best way to display it.
Dante Ruia had nothing to report for the Planning Board.
The Zoning Board of Appeals met May 14, and conducted a public hearing involving the Williams applications for an SUP.
The hearing was not finished, according to ZBA chairman Jamie McNair and was scheduled to resume.
Reports from the Assessors and the Codes Enforcement Officer were not read aloud.
To a question from the guests, CEO Gary Schreppel said it was not necessary to have office hours.
If anyone has a question or concern, they can call him, and he would arrange a time to meet.
In his report, Water Board chairman Dan Yoxall said they treated 561,900 gallons of water, for a daily total of 18,130 gallons.
Yoxall asked the Board to approve the adoption of three proposals, which would
enhance the Water Board’s project of improving the water situation.
The first proposal provides services through CPL Engineering, such as preliminary drafts, specification of the projects, and more source development, for a cost of approximately $28,000.
They will also supply grant writing for EFC and USDA Rural Development.
