Legally Amazing Show

I had heard of the musical and the subsequent movie ‘Legally Blonde.’


I had never seen it because I had judged—by the title alone—that it would be about some blonde woman out to prove she wasn’t an airhead. Seen it before, moved on.


I was wrong. ‘Legally Blonde’ has much more depth and the lesson I should have learned about seeing this show earlier: don’t form an impression based on appearances.


Thanks to the Waterville Central School musical cast, it was a lesson I learned with much enjoyment and amazement.


Really, the rope scene alone had me wishing for rewind and slow motion to see how they did that.


This year, WCS Music Teacher Taylor Kochan was blessed with an abundance of female talent for the show, and she chose a musical that perfectly fit the talent she had.


Kochan ranked ‘Legally Blonde’ as her favorite musical to direct, and that combo ...
