High School Fire Safety Education Day

Waterville, Deansboro, Oriskany Falls and North Brookfield fire departments organized a Fire and Burn prevention program at Waterville Junior-Senior High School.
RN Kelly Reed from the Upstate Burn Center Outreach Program presented a program to students during the day and spoke to them at lunch.
Her program expands upon the information students were given in elementary school each year during Fire Prevention Week.
In addition, the four departments had a recruitment table in an attempt to recruit new members.
Oriskany Falls firefighter Nick Kosmoski spoke to some interested students.
